Privacy Policy

Clanly is a shared task-list app. This policy explains what information the app processes, why it is used, and the choices available to you.
Information we process
- Account information. If you sign in with Apple or Google, the authentication provider and Firebase Authentication provide an account identifier and may provide your name, email address, and profile image. If the provider does not supply a display name, your email address is used as your member display name, so it is stored with your list memberships and visible to members of your shared lists until you change your display name in the app's settings.
- Your content. List names, task titles, notes, completion state, assignments, member roles, invitations, and optional profile photos are processed to provide Clanly.
- Purchases. Apple processes payments. Clanly receives product and subscription entitlement information needed to unlock Clanly Pro. Product analytics also measures purchase and subscription events, including the product identifier, product name, and price.
- Product analytics. Clanly records screens and actions, coarse counts, plan/authentication state, and opaque identifiers to understand reliability and feature use. While you are signed in, analytics events are associated with your account identifier across sessions and devices. Events defined by Clanly do not contain task titles, notes, invitation codes, email addresses, or display names.
- Crash and diagnostic data. Firebase Crashlytics collects crash reports — stack traces and relevant app state — together with device and OS information and SDK performance metadata, so failures can be diagnosed and fixed.
- Camera access. Camera frames are processed on-device only when you scan an invitation QR code. They are not stored or uploaded by Clanly.
How information is used
Information is used to operate local lists, authenticate accounts, synchronize and share lists, restore purchases, secure the service, diagnose failures, and improve Clanly. Clanly does not sell personal information and does not use an advertising SDK or cross-app tracking.
Storage and service providers
Signed-out data is stored on your device. When you sign in, shared content and profile photos may be stored using Google Firebase services so they can sync with the people you invite. Apple processes App Store purchases. Apple or Google processes the sign-in method you choose. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
Sharing
Content in a shared list is visible to that list's members according to their role. Information may also be disclosed to service providers acting on Clanly's behalf, when required by law, or to protect users and the service. It is not sold to data brokers or advertisers.
Retention, deletion, and security
Information is kept while needed to provide the service and meet legal, security, and operational requirements. You can delete lists and tasks in the app. To request deletion of an account or associated cloud data, email hello@yusuke.ca. Reasonable administrative, technical, and access controls are used, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
Children
Clanly is a general-audience productivity app and is not directed to children under 13. A parent or guardian should manage household information involving a child.
International processing and changes
Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. This policy may be updated as Clanly changes. Material updates will be posted here with a revised effective date.
